Diego J. Peña has more than 37 years-experience as a litigator, mediator and arbitrator. He specializes in mediating labor & employment, discrimination, sexual harassment, business and commercial disputes. As a litigator, he learned the importance of thoroughly preparing a realistic resolution and settlement strategy.
Mr. Peña is well respected by judges, arbitrators, mediators and attorneys for his integrity and professionalism. For more than twenty years, he has held the highest rating from Martindale-Hubbell (AV).
His office is located in Fort Worth, Texas, approximately 30 minutes away from the DFW Airport. Mr. Pena mediates and arbitrates disputes in and outside of Texas.

He believes that the parties must settle their case—not the mediator. When the parties ask him about their case or legal position, Mr. Peña provides realistic and honest assessments. He does not force settlements.
Throughout the mediation, Mr. Peña listens and asks questions. He is patient and respectful of parties’ positions and arguments. He respects attorneys’ relationships with their clients.

Having tried cases before some of the best judges and arbitrators in the United States, Mr. Peña has learned to manage cases fairly and efficiently. He is respectful and patient with parties, witnesses and counsel.
As a labor and employment arbitrator, Mr. Peña fully understands the positions of the employer and the employee. He is well respected by employer/management attorneys and employee/union attorneys (references available upon request).
Mr. Peña manages his arbitration hearings in the same way his favorite judges and arbitrators conducted their hearings: he treats the parties, the witnesses and the advocates (attorneys and union representatives) with dignity and respect.
